District Patrons, due to the increas that has been passed on to us from our suppliers, ​Shawnee Rural Water District No. 8 will be increasing their Water rates. The increase will start for the January billing 2024 wich will be the February water bill. The charge is going from $7.00 to $7.25 per thousand gallons of water used.

Starting 9-2022 We are going to start replacing the 3200 water meters in the District. There will be limited interruption to your service when the meter is being switch out. We wil be starting on the "RURAL" routes first, the neighborhoods will be in 2023. If you have any questions please call the office.
