District Patrons, due to the increase that has been passed on to us from our suppliers, ​Shawnee Rural Water District No. 8 will be increasing their Water rates. The increase will start for the January billing 2026 which will be the February water bill. The charge is going from $8.15 to $8.65 per/1000 gallons of water used.  we are able to spread this increase out, so thne in July your price per/1000 will be $9.15. We strive to keep prices down and are proud to say we are at the bottom end of prices in the State of Kansas!!
